The guys over at the new channel “Drive” share our passion for the McLaren F1. They should, considering how I used to work with most of them and spent hours a day blabbing about how the F1 is the only car that matters.
This F1 has possibly the most interesting paint scheme of all the GTRs. The livery was designed by Andy Blackmore for Philip Morris. They had wanted to re-launch their “Lark” brand in the Japanese GT Championship and Rocket Pink and Graphite Grey stood out the best on your typically overcast Japanese day.
While some of the YouTube commenters have given veteran car reviewer Chris Harris a hard time about being so scared, I can tell you first hand, you would be too. I’ve sat as he did in the passenger compartment of a 360 Modena, lacking a seat, holding desperately onto the rollbar. I’ve also been in a F1. Combining these things is not something I would wish upon anyone.
